Molten rock shot 500 feet (150 meters) into the sky above Halemaʻumaʻu Crater on the night of July 28, as Kīlauea's summit eruption entered its 52nd episode — another installment in a sequence that has already rewritten the record books and turned an active volcano into one of the best-forecast natural phenomena on Earth. By 9:15 p.m. Hawaii Standard Time (3:15 a.m. ET on July 29), the north vent was producing peak fountains, lava was blanketing roughly 10 percent of the crater floor, and a volcanic plume had briefly reached 19,000 feet (5,791 meters) above mean sea level before settling back to around 16,000 feet (4,877 meters), according to the USGS Hawaiian Volcano Observatory's observatory messages.

‘Target list’ of 23 UK towns and cities revealed by ex-Russian Deputy PM

 

An ex-Russian Deputy PM posted a map of over 20 UK sites to target and destroy.

Dmitry Rogozin, formerly Deputy Prime Minister and space agency chief, warned that numerous British defence-linked sites will be targeted.

An alarming map of what defence sites Russia would like to target first came as the latest warning from the Kremlin.

The locations consist of both military and industrial sites across all four UK nations, however the exact locations have not been made public.

This comes after former British defence secretary Ben Wallace called for ‘making Crimea uninhabitable and unviable from a Russian point of view’ last October.

“Ukraine does not need to invade the peninsula (which I concede would be incredibly difficult if not impossible) but they should choke it to death.”

Rogozin responded with the map, commenting: “Former British Defence Minister Ben Wallace on what Kyiv and its NATO allies should do to end the military actions: ‘We must help Ukraine acquire long-range capabilities to make Crimea uninhabitable. We need to strangle Crimea.’

“What a sober minister has in mind, a former one has on his tongue. However, it is even good that they reveal their true intentions.

I remember the last time i experienced a Total Solar eclipse was in 2015 March 19th.

i experienced how eerily quiet it went, and the temperature drop as the moon passed in front of that celestial ball of fire.

People generally consider Total Solar Eclipse as bad omens and this one is visible over Spain, France, UK, Iceland aaannnnddd Greenland...

When i was looking at the extremely rare looking path of this eclipse and its path straight up to the North pole from Rome way (reverse path in reality), i immediately thought Romans, government, wilderness under ground cities.

In fact there are underground facilities in Greenland, maybe that why trump was trying to target them?

• Iran launched renewed attacks on US military targets and Gulf allies, striking a command center near Al-Tanf in Syria and triggering air raid sirens in Bahrain, while continuing pressure on the Strait of Hormuz, which has driven oil prices above $90 per barrel.
• The strikes targeted US partners (including facilities in Bahrain and Kuwait) and were described by Iran as retaliation for American actions; the US responded with its eighth consecutive night of strikes on Iranian targets.
• The escalation has caused civilian and military casualties, damaged infrastructure (including a power plant in Kuwait and a nuclear-related site in Iran), and further dimmed hopes for a political settlement despite mediation efforts.

Iran renewed attacks on US military targets and its regional allies on Monday, saying it had struck a command center near the Al-Tanf base in Syria, while Bahrain sounded air raid sirens as the latest escalation sent oil prices above $90 a barrel.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said they had launched a “surprise attack” on an enemy special operations command center in the Al-Tanf region of Syria, according to a statement carried by Iranian state news agency IRNA.

The attack was described as retaliation for the deaths of Iranian soldiers from Iranshahr, a city in southeastern Iran.

UK 'ready to defend itself' after Iran says bases are 'legitimate targets'

The British government has said it "stands ready 24/7 to defend itself" after Iran said UK bases used by the US were considered "legitimate targets".

The UK has allowed the US to launch "defensive" operations from British bases hosting American personnel and aircraft, while refusing to cooperate in offensive operations against Iran.

Iran's foreign ministry said the UK was an "accomplice" in the US war, while the powerful Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) military wing said any country which supports the US militarily "will be responsible for the consequences and repercussions".

It comes as the US carried out a 13th consecutive night of strikes against targets in Iran.

While US President Donald Trump has repeatedly criticised the British government and former Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer for what he has deemed a lack of support for his war, Iran's comments on 23 July sought to paint the UK as a party to the campaign.
