Israel has received a coffin that Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad said contains the body of a hostage, Israel's military says.
Hamas's armed wing said the body had been found on Friday in Khan Younis in southern Gaza. The body has been transported to Israel via the Red Cross for identification.
Before this handover, Hamas had returned all 20 living hostages and 22 out of 28 deceased hostages under the first phase of a ceasefire deal that started on 10 October. Five of the six dead hostages still in Gaza were Israelis and one was Thai.
Israel has criticised Hamas for not yet returning all the bodies. Hamas says it is hard to find them under rubble.

In Vietnam's Gia Lai province, some 350,000 people were expected to have been evacuated by the middle of the day as authorities warned of heavy rains and damaging winds that could cause flooding in low-lying areas and disrupt agricultural activity.
In the Philippines' hardest-hit province of Cebu, the scale of the destruction became clearer as floodwaters receded to reveal flattened homes, overturned vehicles and streets choked with debris.
More than 200,000 people were evacuated in the Philippines ahead of Kalmaegi hitting on Tuesday. Some have returned to find their homes destroyed, while others have begun the arduous cleanup, scraping mud from their houses and streets.
"The challenge now is debris clearing... These need to be cleared immediately, not only to account for the missing who may be among the debris or may have reached safe areas but also to allow relief operations to move forward," Raffy Alejandro, a senior civil defence official, told DZBB radio.

A 2,700-year-old pottery sherd discovered near the Temple Mount in Jerusalem is the first known correspondence between the Assyrian Kingdom to the Kingdom of Judah ever found in the city.
The 1-inch-long (2.5 centimeters) sherd (the term archaeologists use to describe fragments of pottery) is covered with cuneiform text and dates to the First Temple period (1000 to 586 B.C.). It appears to contain a royal correspondence from the Assyrian Kingdom to the Kingdom of Judah demanding to know the status of a late tribute payment.
The inscription is written in Akkadian, a language that was spoken in the Near East, including in Assyria, and which was written using cuneiform text.
well let me share with you how things went for me...
First i had a outdoor, lowland leader training course on the 4th-5th.
The weather was extreme, flooding etc. Storm Amy.
Still had a good time up there, and met a lovely young lady who i still speak to everyday now :-)
Then on the 6th i sighted the Full Moon from my Holy mountain, actually at prayer spot.
The full moon wasn't until the day after, went up the mountain on the tuesday, but couldn't sight the moon because of cloud cover.
And then on the 8th of October, the first day of Tabernacles i woke up with the flu. i was so bad, migraine, bad chest, chills, aching all over body. I didn't go out for about 3 days because i felt so bad. which is very unusual for me.
My Mum was also so bad with exactly same thing, so i realised this wasn't some cold i picked up from the ridiculous weather we experienced in Capel Curig on the course.
So i could not keep the Feast of Tabernacles, which instructs us to dwell in booths / Tents for 7 days.
This is to humble ourselves, to remember what it is like to be homeless and to be gratefully we have a home and roof above our heads.
But there was no way i was going up the mountain when i felt like i was bordering on Pneumonia.
Amazingly enough that i fell Sick on the very day that Shofar was heard on the very first day of Tabernacles. wow. was this what the shofar meant?
This Feast was so important though, being the last before shit hits the fan especially in June 2026 with nuke world war.
I AM thinking to keep the Feast again on the Next month.
In the First coming of my Father Moses, he implemented something called Second Passover.
If men were unclean or on a journey and they missed the feast of Passover they kept the feast on the next monthfull moon. (14th of Iyar)
Numbers 9: 6 And there were certain men, who were defiled by the dead body of a man, that they could not keep the passover on that day: and they came before Moses and before Aaron on that day: 7 And those men said unto him, We are defiled by the dead body of a man: wherefore are we kept back, that we may not offer an offering of the Lord in his appointed season among the children of Israel? 8 And Moses said unto them, Stand still, and I will hear what the Lord will command concerning you. 9 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 10 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If any man of you or of your posterity shall be unclean by reason of a dead body, or be in a journey afar off, yet he shall keep the passover unto the Lord. 11 The fourteenth day of the second month at even they shall keep it, and eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs. 12 They shall leave none of it unto the morning, nor break any bone of it: according to all the ordinances of the passover they shall keep it
I AM thinking, in this time of the Second coming of Moses, that we could also make a Second Tabernacles.
Like if someone was Sick and could not keep the feast, that they should keep it on the month after on the full moon (Cheshvan 14th)
This would fall on the roman calendar as November 5th, which interestingly enough in this country is Guy Folks, Bonfire night.
"Remember, Remember the 5th of November gunpowder, treason and plot"
